I've got to be honest here and say that I've been to a ton of places in New York City but never have I experienced something quite like Porky's. Besides from the music being anything from Biggy to Michael Jackson, out of nowhere, the ceiling was pouring with money - it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I had an unreal time at Porky's and thanks in part to the fishbowls that really do the trick. Had a great time, really loved the atmosphere here and will hopefully be back sooner then later!
Who the hell would give this dump 5 stars? You have to be a tourist or underage (and not the cool kind of underage, the nerd kind of underage) to go to this place. The "fishbowls" are all sugar (think Red Headed Sl*t in a 48oz bowl), the music is terible, and the usual corwds are to be avoided like Syphilis. 2 stars max, 1 for being in Manhattan, and 1 for service alcohol. Thats it, 10,000 better places ot have your party.
