The Best Rooftops In NYC

June 16, 2016

There are so many amazing people, places and things that make New York City one of the best cities in the world, but in the summer, nothing compares to a New York City rooftop. There’s just something about the city’s summer breeze, fresh air and of course cocktails that make rooftops a must every single summer.
Lucky for you, we work with some of the best rooftop venues in NYC. It’s going to be a hot one, but that’s the best thing about the summer–you get to spend some time in the sun. Rooftops in NYC feel like a temporary vacation. And there’s no limit to how many of these you can have this summer.
Tasty cocktails, mouth-watering bites and a cool breeze will sustain you all summer long and we just so happen to have a list of places that will deliver your midsummer night’s dream.
Here’s a short list of the best rooftops in NYC and most certainly the ones that need to be on your list this summer.

This isn’t the creepy attic that you wouldn’t dare go into from your childhood home. This beautiful, sprawling rooftop is a gem with stunning city views, plush couches and a hot, young crowd. And that’s likely all you want this summer, or at least it should be.
 Ainsworth Midtown
They’re known for their mac & cheese burger and last we checked, that was a really good thing. But Ainsworth also has a rooftop terrace that’s sure to make your burger taste even better. And get this–there’s space! This ain’t your typical Manhattan bar that boast “cozy” at best. And you’re going to appreciate that space because you’re going to eat your weight in burgers, promise.
 Hudson-Terrace-Rooftop
This will surely be one of the most stunning rooftops you’ll ever see. Rain or shine, nothing will ever keep you away from this place. The views of the Hudson River are out of this world. The best part? There’s two outdoor spaces to choose from. On one floor, there’s a smaller terrace that gives you the outdoor vibe you want without the crazy view. One more floor up, and the entire city is yours. If you ever need to confirm how beautiful NYC is, get yourself to Hudson Terrace.

The name is enough to entice you, right? Grab your own little piece of rooftop heaven here. Nestled on the 15th floor of the Hudson Hotel is a magically relaxing oasis with sprawling views. It’s like you’ve been given a secret garden where you can eat and drink to your heart’s content. There’s also hammocks here, so do with that what you will. Just know, this might be the most chill rooftop venue in all of NYC.

Maybe they named this place The DL so that knows who are in the know, keep things on the down low? Because here’s the thing about awesome locations–one you share they, they will come. This rooftop isn’t perched high in the sky, but because it’s in the lower east side of Manhattan, you still get beautiful views. The food is the thing that overly excited Yelp! reviews are made of and the drinks will have you shaking your groove thang with complete strangers (mostly because your friends stopped dancing with your drunk @$%).
