Vibe: We all know Morocco is like the LeBron James of the Middle East. Katra further proves this point by taking all the country’s best aspects and giving them to you in a perfectly decadent space. The spot to make your birthday party shine, Katra is New York City’s best take on the Middle Eastern party.

Spot: All the furnishings are brought from Morocco, from the intimate seating on lavish cushions to music that will have you up and belly dancing before long (or at least that’s what you’ll say you were doing when the birthday party pictures show up on Facebook). Exotic through and through, the whole space screams sexy mischief.

Grub: New York City’s Katra serves (what else?) Moroccan fusion style tapas designed by Chef Jonathan Lindenauer of Jean Georges. We recommend you check out the Harissa Infused Chicken Pie, and finish with a strawberry hookah (yes, they have hookahs, and you don’t even have to listen to Phish).

The Deal: If you’re in the mood for something exotic, luscious, and all around sexy, Katra is a great place to host your birthday party in New York City.
