Maybe “pig” is in the name because that is exactly what you will be after attempting to order everything on the menu. This is the type of sports bar where you’re coming to watch sports, but you stay for the food, which is surprisingly better than most restaurants that focus on flavor. It’s the perfect chill spot to go for a drink, the game or even a relaxing and/or turnt brunch.
It’s so chill here that you’ll feel overdressed in anything but a T-shirt in jeans. The crowd is here for a good time, great food or so they can yell at their favorite sports team and feel right at home.
Expect bar food, but with an elevated flavor. There’s burgers (one of them even mixes sirloin with sausage), pulled pork sandwiches, wings, buffalo chicken nachos, truffle fries and more familiar, but fancy deliciousness. And if you’re coming for brunch, a lot of these same things live on the menu, but there’s also classics like chicken and waffles and dishes with a twist like duck hash. And speaking of brunch, $30 will get you an entrée and two hours of unlimited brunch drinks like mimosas or bloody Marys.
Ok, we’re going to be all the way honest with you, this place is everything, literally everything. The food is amazing, the staff is kind and the vibe is perfect. It’s one of those NYC gems that you wish we wouldn’t tell everyone about so that the next time you show up for brunch, there’s not a two-hour wait. But we have to share because this place is awesome. The prices are reasonable and enough space for you to spread out and enjoy yourself.
