DJ (they want you to turn up)
This is not a public school, we think. If it is, what lucky students! PS 450 is Park Avenue perfection. It’s the best spot to go to for socially acceptable day drinking. So if your birthday celebration is a boozy brunch, PS 450 is it.
Don’t you love it when a trendy place on Park Avenue is friendly and reasonably priced? You should because that is not the norm in New York City. Good food, your good friends and prices that will make you feel like you’re in Queens. It’s perfect for a budget-friendly birthday celebration, without skimping on any quality. You don’t want your friends to judge you afterwards. Well maybe they will judge you because it’s “bro” central—meaning the frat boy types.
There’s deviled eggs on the menu and while that may not be a big deal to you, when they’re done right, they’re basically Jesus. And PS 450 does them right—there’s maple bacon involved. They also boast fried green tomato silders and many salads that will make you order salads in the future, no matter how dumb you think that is. And if your birthday plans are boozy brunch, there’s hangover fries to cure what’s certainly ailing you. If you’re nice, the waiters will bring a full bottle of champagne to your boozy brunch for refills. Need more convincing? S’mores French toast.
Good food, good drink, good company is their motto and clearly their way of life at PS 450. Their “soup of the day” is often champagne, so that should tell you all you need to know about this place. It’s the best choice for a drunk brunch bash of a birthday and your friends will all say they’re coming back and that means, you’ve chosen the best possible place. It’s not your momma’s brunch. This is a turnt up time, but with quality food and drinks to boot. Where else can you find that?
